2 killed, 3 injured in accident on #Mumbai-#Goa highway

 Two persons were killed and three others seriously injured after the Qualis they were travelling on the Mumbai-Goa highway from Bhandup towards Khed, met with an accident at Shindewadi near Udhale-Khurd village. The fatal mishap took place on Monday at around 6am, due to overtaking and a consequent collision with a tempo. The Qualis heading towards Khed, a ST bus ahead of it, and a tempo coming from the opposite direction from Khed towards Poladpur collided headon. Also, due to early morning fog there was poor visibility on the highway, said the Khed traffic police.
