New Delhi March 19, 2016 Indian Drivers Driver Jagat Singh of Haryana  and Nagarjuna A of Andhra Pradesh emerged victorious in their respective batches of Indian drivers Super class race in the Tata T1 Prima Truck Racing Championship at the Buddh International Circuit. British Truck race  driver  David Jenkins of Tata Technologies Motor  sports team  won the International part of the season 3 T1 Prima Truck racing championship . Richard Collet and Graham Powell of Cummins team were first and second runners up respectively. The 12 Indian drivers chosen from among the 17 shortlisted were divided into two groups of six for the two races held.While Jagat Singh took win in the first batch earlier in the day, Nagarjuna A  took the honours in the second and final race for the Indian truck drivers. In batch One , Malkeet Singh and  Rajkumar Mahato were runner’s up and in the Second batch BhagChand and Anad were runners up . Rajiv Pratap Rudy  Union Skill Development and Entrepreneur Minister gave away the Trophies  to the winners and runners ups. Main attraction of the event was Live performance by eminent Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan and Rap Sensation Badshah during the event .An Audience of About 60  thousand witnessed the 3rd edition of the Tata T1 truck racing with the theme “Inia to the World’ planned and executed for TATA motors by by event marketing company T.I.C.  “Besides the truck drivers of international acclaim and foreign nationals, Indian drivers especially trained for the event participated for the first time in the race. The truck racing is a highly popular international sport worldwide since 1979. Tata Motors wanted to bring it to India and the major challenge for T.I.C. was to persuade the globally famed truck driving champions and designing the trucks of international standards.” Said Mr Gaurav Dhall of TIC Marketing ,the company which has been  conceptualised and organised the Tata motor event . “To make these Prima trucks fit for racing, more than 43 key modifications were made to meet a mix of safety and performance needs as per guidelines from British Truck Racing Association. These included significant changes in fuel tank, brake cooling system, propeller shaft guards, racing seats and safety belts, exhaust, steering wheel among others. The trucks have gone through multiple quality checks and also tested on the test circuit at Jamshedpur for high speed run and control.” Mr Dhall added. “In all, months of hard work has resulted in a marketing strategy that has attracted and guaranteed huge turnout for an audience centric experience to enjoy truck racing at its best. Over the last two years, the event showcased the best talent in International truck racing, as well as the latest advancements in trucking technologies by Tata Motors.” Said Mr Dhall
