6 Bihar govt officials suspended over shelter home rape case
The Bihar government has suspended six officials of its Social Welfare Department for "negligence and dereliction of duty" over the Muzaffarpur shelter home rape case. The CBI is investigating the case after medical reports confirmed that over 30 girls who had been lodged at the shelter home had been sexually abused.
