70-80% of Ganga will be cleaned by end of Mar 2019: Gadkari

Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said that 70% to 80% of Ganga will be cleaned by the end of March 2019. "My feeling is that by March 2020, the river will be 100% clean," he added. He further said that nearly ₹26,000 crore is being spent to clean the river under the National Mission for Clean Ganga.
