Aam Aadmi Party frontal organizations protest Congress – BJP connivance in helicopter deal
The Youth and Women wing of the Aam Aadmi Party today held a massive protest in front of Parliament at Jantar Mantar alleging inaction of the Modi government in the Augusta Westland Helicopter deal. The cadres of the frontal organization assembled in large numbers to warn the government that the connivance of Congress with BJP in this bribery episode is more than clear to the country. BJP is trying to shield some of the top persons in Congress and wasting time in Parliament with inaction.
“The nation is curious that there is only furor and no action in the Augusta Westland episode. No arrests and no chargesheet. This a typical case of both Congress and BJP hand-in-glove to save each other. It seems there is an understanding between BJP and Congress to save their top leaders,” Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing Delhi president Ankush Narang said in the demonstration.
BJP is not just involved in saving the skin of top Congress leaders, it is also making the people of country suffer by means of wasting the precious time of the Parliament. Congress and BJP are involved in shadow boxing in this incident to divert the attention of the country from other vital issues like draught and price rise, Youth Wing Spokesperson Vikas Yogi said.
The protest was attended in large numbers by women from across the strata of society. The women’s wing leaders present on occasion called upon the government to come clean on the corruption allegations and stop saving the Congress.
“The valuable time of the Parliament is being wasted in verbal clash and government is taking no action against the allegations leveled against Congress politicians,” Aam Aadmi Party Women’s Wing head Bhavna Gaud said addressing the demonstration.
Aam Aadmi Party will hold a massive demonstration with all its frontal organizations and cadres coming in one stage. The party will organize and sensitize the people of Delhi in exposing the Modi government in its double speak.
