New Delhi:On the 156th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda Aarti educational and Healthcare Society (AEHS)organised an event at The Ashok Hotel in New Delhi to celebrate National Youth Day.
The event began with national anthem sang by a group of children.
The event was joined by some prominent personalities including Member of Parliament, chief of Dargah Ajmer Shareef and several other Hindu monks.
The event was scheduled to be inaugrated by General V K Singh, BJP parliamentarian and former Minister of State for External affairs but following an urgent meeting, Singh was not able to attend the National Youth Day event.
Pawan Kumar Rai, president, Aarti Educational and Healthcare Society told Ten News, “Our society AEHS is celebrating the Swami ji’s birthday from several years, Swami ji’s ideology will inspire generations”.
Political analyst and social activist, Ashutosh Pandey putting light on the Swami Vivekananda said, “if a person follows the ideologies of the great leader, everything is possible for that person. Swami ji told us, fear is death, if one can overcome fear he can achieve everything.
Swami Vivekananda is the key figure of introduction of Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world.
