Alarmed with constant resignations Congress issues warning to its Gujarat MLA’s

The exit of three Congress MLAs from the assembly just ahead of the Gujarat Assembly elections has created a tension within the party.

On Friday, Senior Congress leader, Abhishek Manu Sanghavi in an aggressive tone warned the Gujarat Congress MLAs to stay away from any wrongdoing and stated that BJP is utilizing his whole strength to gain Congress MLAs and party MLAs must follow the rules and regulations of Congress.

On Thursday three Congress MLAs Balwantsinh Rajput (Sidhpur), Tejashree Patel (Viramgam) and Prahlad Patel (Vijapur) quit the party to join the BJP.
However today again two more members tendered there resignation from Congress and Joined BJP.

Congress is also more troubled with these recent developments because if any more MLA’s leave its party, the chances of sending Aehmad Patel to Rajyasabha from Gujarat will become very grim.
