At 9:45 am – In Telangana and Chhattisgarh, Congress is leading and achieved the target seats to form the Government. Counting is still in progress.

In Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh also, Congress is leading from the front. In Mizoram, MNF is leading.

At 10 am – Congress in Rajasthan won 101 seats, achieved the target of 100 to form the government. In MP, Congress is leading by 14 seats, counting for 29 seats still in progress. In Telangana, counting for 119 seats is done, TRS leads with 82 seats. In Mizoram, MNF wins 25 seats.

At 10:20 am – Madhya Pradesh remains tight as the gap is narrowing between Congress and BJP. In Rajasthan Congress is considering to be a winner as it crosses the half way mark target.

At 11:00 am – Congress on the verge of winning in Madhya Pradesh. In Rajasthan, Congress come below the half way mark. In Chhattisgarh, Congress leads with 25 seats. TSR and MNF leads the results in Telangana and Mizoram respectively.

At 11:30 am – Madhya Pradesh’s trends again puts the two parties in neck to neck competition. In Rajasthan, congress still needs 3 seats to form government. TSR whitewashes BJP and Congress in Telangana. In Chhattisgarh, Congress is a success.

At 12:30 pm – Madhya Pradesh still having a tight fight till now. Ashok Gehlot, said “we will clearly win in Rajasthan still we will welcome independent candidates and parties other than BJP to support us if they want. In Chhattisgarh, trends clearly shows that Congress is the peoples choice this time.

At 1:00 pm – Madhya Pradesh becomes a see-saw fight. Both the parties gaining and losing seats.

At 2:00 pm – BJP took lead in Madhya Pradesh. Congress once again crosses the target mark in Rajasthan

At 2:30 pm – BJP gaining numbers in Madhya Pradesh, took lead by 6 seats from Congress. Rajasthan remains to be on Congress’s side.

At 3:00 pm – Both BJP and Congress holding their nerves tight for Madhya Pradesh seats, BSP and Others likely to play an important role.

At 3:30 pm – Congress takes lead in Madhya Pradesh by 6 seats. Rajasthan seems to be unreachable for BJP.

At 4:00 pm – Congress stood still with the lead in Madhya Pradesh in a nail-biting fight.

At 4:30 pm – Congress leaves behind BJP by 16 seats in MP, crosses target mark of 116.

At 5:00 pm – BJP lags behind Congress in 3 states. In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, almost a win-win situation for Congress. Celebrations starts at Congress office in Delhi.

At 5:30 pm – Trends clearly shows the win of Congress in 3 states. Telangana chooses TRS as their favourite. Now the results will be declared in a short period of time.

At 6:00 pm – BJP come closer to the Congress as trends of Madhya Pradesh keeps on changing.

At 6:30 – Celebrations going on at Congress offices, results are yet to be declared. TRS led by Chandshekhar Rao, said “will make Telangana more properous”. MNF wins in Mizoram. Dicey situation in Madhya Pradesh

At 7:00 pm – Madhya Pradesh remains a tensed situation for Congress and BJP. Election Commission will be doing a press conference in Bhopal after some time.

At 8:00 pm – Congress President, Rahul Gandhi addresses the media, said “heartly thanks to the workers of the Congress, proud of Congress workers, Youth, Farmers, all have supported us. Its time for a change, Congress now have a big responsibility now”.

Madhya Pradesh remains to be a see-saw competition.

At 9:00 pm – Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh belongs to Congress. Telangana chooses TRS led by Chandrashekhar Rao. Mizoram National Front sweeps in Mizoram. Madhya Pradesh remains to be a hope for both BJP and Congress. Results to tell soon, who will be the last one standing.

  • Congratulations to the Congress for their victories. Congratulations to KCR Garu for the thumping win in Telangana and to the Mizo National Front (MNF) for their impressive victory in Mizoram.

At 11:00 pm – Congress seeks appointment with governor to stake claim to form government in MP.

Governor told that appointment will be given only after a clear picture of counting.

At 9:00 am – Counting of votes ended in MP, Congress single largest party with 114 seats, BJP with 109.

At 10:30 am – Mayawati said “we perform very well in the elections and give a tough competition to BJP and Congress. We will give support to the Congress where ever is needed to ensure that BJP will not come in power”.

At 11 am – Congress delegate will meet MP Governor at 12 pm to stake claim to form Government.

At 11:30 am – SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also extends support to Congress to form Government in MP.

At 1:00 pm – MP Congress leader Narendra Saluja said “we have met the governor and staked claim to form the government; we have the support of 121 MLA’s.

At 2:00 pm – Rajasthan has passed the resolution authorizing Congress president Rahul Gandhi to take final decision on CM candidate.
