Bal Bharati Principal Asha Prabhakar Interview : Nothing more fulfilling than recieving love of students and parents!

Ten News today spoke to Principal of Bal Bharati Public School Mrs. Asha Prabhakar.

In this short candid chat she revealed various facades of her life and spoke unhesitatingly about her stint as the principal of one of the most renowned schools of Noida.

Here are the excerpts of the Successful Personality interview of Mrs. Asha Prabhakaran

What’s your biggest achievement so far?

Being a schools principal nothing could be more fulfilling then getting love and support of my students and their parents. We have never received any complaints or issues regarding any day to day functioning of school and I consider myself lucky to get such support.

So my biggest achievement is making my parents feel good about Bal Bharati Public school.

What has been the greatest challenge you have faced in your life or career?

As a principal and as a leader one has to be relentless architect of future possibilities, so in our career there are lots of up’s and down’s but so far It has been all good and I had not faced any roadblocks or challenge in doing my duties.

What is your success Mantra?

To keep everybody into your stride, have lots of patience with your team and be honest towards your professional commitment, this is what can be termed as my Success Mantra.

Who’s your favorite icon or role model of all time?

Swami Vivekananda is someone that I look upto as an icon and role model.

Do you believe in the existence of God?

Yes I do believe in existence of God. God lives within us and he is everywhere. It’s the God inside us that guides us on right track.

Do you read books? Which book has influenced your thoughts the most?

I read atleast one book a week and more than that I am much fond of reading editorials, which I do religiously.

What kind of movies do you like? and your favourite movies and actors?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is my favourite director and my favorites are all his movies under his excellent direction.

What kind of music or art you love?

I am more of a Sufi person. It’s very soothing and this is music I prefer.

What’s your favorite sport? And your favourite sports personality?

Badminton and Tennis are my favorites. Sania Nehwal and PV Sindhu can be role models for the upcoming generations.

What is your opinion on Narendra Modi as PM so far?

I come from same state as PM Modi and there was a time when we share the same locality as well. I am also a pass-out of Gujarat University. I a die hard fan of Narendra Modi. My expectations with him in field of education because it is the education that leads country up or down.
