Bharat Sethi, Zonal Manager of SIEMENS delivers Expert Talk at GNIOT MBA Institute, stresses on right positive attitude

Greater Noida Institute of Technology‘s MBA Institute on Thursday organized an expert talk by Bharat Sethi, Zonal Manager – (North) at SIEMENS.

The event witnessed massive participation of excited students from MBA and PGDM courses.

During the event Savita Mohan, Director GNIOT MBA Institute said, “it is important for students to have some firsthand knowledge of industry experience and industry exposure and hence such insider talks become very important. We are privileged to have Bharat Sethi with us and we are sure more such talks will be organized in future”.

SIEMENS Zonal Manager Bharat Sethi started his talk with a very personal note, describing his first job stint and salary. Later he briefed about his success story, change of careers, mistakes as well as most memorable assignments.

He said, “I started my journey in 2002. After completing my MBA the first job that I got was with Kajaria, which involved lot of travel. Those days were a great learning period for me”.

He also defined management in a very innovative crisp manner. He said, “Management is managing men or women tactfully. So basically Management is art of managing People tactfully”.

 

Bharat Sethi motivated students and said, “It is important to fix targets and aspire to achieve it. The young generation and modern students will be facing a much matured market. With time brand value has enhanced and people know brand so it has become easier to convince people. Hence no goal is too tough for you students to achieve, given you put right energy into it”.

Soon after the talk Bharat Sethi also spoke exclusively to Ten News and shared memorable details of his careers growth, advice for students and his view on importance of right attitude.

He said, “Attitude plays very important role in modern corporate world. Students should learn the art of staying positive even in most adverse condition and they should learn the importance of filtering out the negative thoughts.

The talk was followed by an interactive session where students asked there industry related questions and attempted to get there doubts cleared. GNIOT MBA institute faculty including Alok Mohan, Amit Kumar Shrivastava and others were present during the event.
