Honorable Supreme Court responding to criticism after Justice Patel’s resignation has taken the big decision of making collegium decisions public. SC said "attempt is being made to ensure transparency and yet maintain confidentiality".
It has now been decided that Decisions on elevation of judges to HC/SC, confirmation as permanent judge, transfer to be made public and reasons to be made public.
