Former Union Minister and Congress MP Selja Kumari today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his allegation that Congress used all its power to remove BR Ambedkar from the history.
She claimed that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can think so because he has studied a different history which has been written by the RSS.

She made these allegations today while addressing media at party office on the occasion of birth anniversary of father of constitution Dr. BR Ambedkar.

She said,“Aisa lagta hai duniya 2014 me shuru hui hai, us se pahle jo kuch bhi hua sab galat tha aur wo congress ne kiya hai. Whatever issues, corruption charges, violence charges that BJP and PM Modi faces, they simply dump it on Congress in an attempt to free themselves from the issues. Is this the way to rule this great country?”

She further said, “If Congress tried to undermine BR Ambedkar, Congress would not made him chairman of Constitution Assembly. Only excellence mattered then and not cast.”

PM Narendra Modi yesterday inaugurated Dr Ambedkar National Memorial at 26, Alipur Road in Delhi. This is the place where Dalit icon and Chairman of the committee that drafted India’s Constitution B R Ambedkar passed away on December 6, 1956.

On that occasion, PM Modi attacked Congress and said, the party used all its power to remove BR Ambedkar from the history and only BJP has respected and gave him (Ambedkar) the place and esteem which he deserves.

Unmasking the loopholes of BJP-lead NDA government she said, the schemes for SC/ST, budget, jobs have been trimmed down during the NDA regime. “In 2017-18 and 2018-19, the government has trimmed 50% of funds of SC/ ST community.”

Commenting over Unnao and Kathua case she said, “When Nirbhaya incident rocked the nation; the ruling Congress party respected public sentiments and made strict laws but the current government and its followers are defending the accused, refraining police from their duties both in Unnao or Kathua. It is shameful.”
