BJP leaders Raju Nirmal and Dharamveer Singh Bavana join AAP ahead of Lok Sabha elections

New Delhi: Two of Bharatiya Janta Party leaders from Delhi unit joined Aam Aadmi Party at party headquarters in New Delhi.



Ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the political shifting of leaders is on peak, the politicians are switching parties as they see a better political career or opportunities.

Raju Nirmal and Dharamveer Singh Bawana who were in BJP joined the party in the presence of Aam Aadmi Party’s National Spokesperson Raghav Chadha and Rajya Sabha MP Narain Dass Gupta.

Chadha while addressing a press conference confirms the inclusion of both of the senior leaders while Narain Dass Gupta welcomed the duo by assigning them a party’s cap and neck stole.

Speaking at the press conference,Chadha said,” the leaders were actively working in Bharatiya Janta Party, they were closely discerning the development works done by Aam Aadmi Party’s government in the capital, today Raju ji and Bavana ji has taken decision to officially join AAP.
We welcome both of the respected leaders in Aam Aadmi Party family”.

“Both of the leaders have contested elections from BJP and were actively working on ground level from many years”, said the national spokesperson.

Dharamveer Awana, who was former BJP Corporator from Meethapur ward, Awana aslo served as deputy chairman of Standing Committee South Delhi Municipal Corporation and held several Bhartiya Janta Party’s designations.

The joining of these two leaders can establish stronger presence of Aam Aadmi Party in South Delhi.
