BJP’s Kisaan Morcha National Convention all set to take place on Feb 23-24 in Gorakhpur

New Delhi: Ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP is trying every possible technique to impress the distressed farmers in the country.

After 2018 assembly elections, since Congress was elected to power and waving off loans of farmers of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, it is speculated that the ruling party may come up with a astonishing pro-farmers scheme to allure millions of farmers in India in near future.

On January 18, BJP MP and party’s Kisaan Morcha president Virendra Singh confirms that the party will hold “Rashtriya Kisan Adhiveshan” on February 23 to 24 in Gorakhpur, Singh confirms during a press conference at BJP headquarters in New Delhi.

The convention will be joined by thousands of “Kisaan party workers” and party prominent leaders including Prime Minster Narendra Modi, he will addresses the party workers on second day of the convention I.e on February 24.

The party’s event is supposed to be inaugurated by BJP- Chief, Amit Shah and Kisaan Morcha President, Virednra Singh.

While addressing the conference, Singh said, “after independence our government is the only one who has deployed 52% of the total budget for the development of farmers.”

“Our government has also subsidised dung compost and reduced GST on farming equipment”, Singh added.
