BJP National Secretary and MLA Sardar R.P. Singh met Chief Secretary of Delhi Government Shri D.M. Sapolia today and raised five main problems of Delhi and said that if solution of these problems is found then it would be very useful in public interest.

Shri Singh said that much time is lost by the common citizen in finding about the department to which his problem is related and what is the contact number of that department. Hence a call centre should be setup whose telephone number should have first eight common figures and the last two of the assembly constituency. It will provide a direct link to the people for registering their grievances and the call centers will forward the related grievance and get a reply within 24 hours from the related department. This call centre should also have direct contact with the office of the area Legislator also.

Today offence against women has become a big problem and there are some areas in every assembly constitueny where such offences take place. Hence, special squad consisting of 20 to 30 women and men police personnel should be formed in each assembly constituency to keep vigil on all sensitive places.

The problem of getting an Ambulance on time and at fair charges in the event of sudden serious illness necessitating hospitalization has become a great problem. By properly utilizing the present resources, there should be one Ambulance in each assembly constituency which should provide this service at nominal charges.

Water ATMs are being setup by the DJB in Delhi. It would be better that these water ATMs also supply 20 liter sealed water jars at nominal charges.

Getting admission to schools has also become a big problem in Delhi. In order to solve this problem, there should be a nodal education officer in each assembly constituency who should help the people in getting their wards admitted in the Government Model Schools or other Government schools.
