Cast vote to keep the ‘Promise Day’ alive for better future: DM GB Nagar N.P Singh appeals youth

Noida: Ahead of first phase of UP elections which are going to be held February 11 tomorrow, where voters will cast their votes but at the same time Valentine’s week is celebrated by the people and February 11 is celebrated as ‘Promise Day’.
Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14, but there are other interesting events that fall during in what is called the ‘Valentines Week’. The Valentine’s week, or the week of love, starts with Rose Day, on February 7, followed by Propose Day, Chocolate Day, Teddy Day, Promise Day, Hug Day, Kiss Day and ends with the much awaited Valentine’s Day. During this week, many couples confess and profess their love to one another.
“Youth should participate in the electoral process in a democratic country like India,” said DM Gautam Buddh Nagar N.P Singh to Tennews.in over phone.
Singh added that youth can play an important role in maintaining law and order and for the betterment of the society.
Singh urged the young generation to polish their social skills and participating in the electoral process to tackle the increasingly complex issues faced by the society.
But in the NCR region it tells the different tale here. The people have confidence to cast votes in favour of candidates who will work for them.
The candidates from political parties have promised the development, law and order to the people at the same time the people have promised that they will cast their votes.
What will happen to the candidates who are in the fray?
Even the concerned District administration has appealed people mostly the youths for participating in the electoral process.
They thought youth plays an important role in the development process of the state.
