CBSE Paper leak finds ABVP Connection: NSUI members burn effigy, demand resignation of MHRD minister

(31/03/18) New Delhi: In connection of the CBSE Mathematics (Class X) and Economics Class (XII) paper leak, the Jharkhand police has arrested 12 people from Bihar and Jharkhand including an ABVP (the student wing of BJP) Jharkhand leader Satish Pandey on Saturday.

According to police, the paper was leaked from Patna and it reached Chatra district (Jharkhand). The ABVP leader runs a coaching center in Chatra district, and is allegedly the kingpin of the leak.

Jolted with the involvement of ABVP leader in the paper leak, members of Delhi, NSUI (Student wing of Congress) burn the effigy of ABVP and hold a protest at ABVP Delhi office. They were shouting anti-ABVP slogans and demanded resignation of MHRD minister Prakash Javadekar.

While talking to Ten News, a NSUI member, Rahul said, “The government has totally failed to curb corruption in education sector. In the recent leak of two CBSE papers, an ABVP leader is the kingpin and running this syndicate. It is shameful.”
While another student said, “Owing to the failure of the government in paper leak, MHRD minister Prakash Javadekar should resign.”
