Chief Secretary Chairs Greater Noida Authority’s Board Meeting, industrial land policy relaxed, budget doubled

Today the 112 board meeting of Greater Noida Developmental Authority was chaired by Anoop Chandra Pandey, Chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh . In the meeting several changes were made in the policy for allotment of Industrial plots so that allotments can be more swift and transparent.

As per the new policy, industrial land less than 4000 square meter area will be made free from complicated procedure . Now buyers will be able to apply for a specific plot as per their choice as previously no such flexibility was available for buyers. Also after allotment if they will pay total amount at a time, 5% concession will be given to them.

For now the time limit for starting the construction over the allotted plots was 18 months which has now been extended to 24 months for plots of 250 to 2000 sq/ meters , 36 months for 2000 to 10,000 sq/meter plots and for more than 1000 thousand sq/ meter .

A budget of 3639 crore had been allotted for 2018-19 which is almost double of 2017-18 budget that was of 1745 crore. Out of 3639 crore 1000 crore will be spent on land acquisition while 100 crore will be spent for Jewar airport, 134 crore for metro and 184 crore will be spent on the other development.

For making Gautum Budh Nagar free from open defecation Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Greater Noida authority will spent 6 crore on construction of 5000 toilets and will giveback per person to beneficiaries under the scheme.

No changes are made in the land allotment rates and it will remain same as last year.
