Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajive Kumar today met the officials of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority at office of Noida Authority. The senior most bureaucrat of the state held discussions on vernacular issues of the district including speedy development of Jewar Airport, effective functionality of municipal duties, buyer’s grievances among other things.

With senior official of the three authorities Chief Secretary also held detailed discussions about upcoming investor’s summit which is schedule to take place in Lucknow in February. UP Government is focusing on bringing more investment and industries to Noida-Greater Noida reasons.

Briefing press after the deliberations chief secretary Rajive Kumar said, “We held discussions on how municipal functions can be made more effective in Noida and as per the roadmap presented before me there could be substantial development in this regard by June”.

Confusion over builder buyer issue deepens:

On being asked to comment over delivery promises made to buyers by UP CM and the three ministers committee, Chief Secretary gave details of the flats delivered till point and gave fresh assurances. However the figures given by top bureaucrat weren’t in synchronization with CM Yogi’s promise and fell short by thousands of units.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary claimed that 25,000 flats have been delivered till point and in next two months more 25k flats can be delivered as well. CM Yogi Adityanath has promised that 80,000 flats will be delivered by end of this financial year. On being informed about CM’s promise, later chief secretary rectified and said that this is just the initial stats and more flats might be delivered as promised by UP CM.

With CM and chief secretary not being on same page on flat delivery schedule, the buyer fraternity may have to wait longer to get any concrete delivery timeline for their rectification of their grievance.

Also meets resident, industrialist and farmer delegations:

Chief Secretary also met MLA Tejpal Nagar who raised with him the issues of GT road connectivity for his constituency Dadri. Rajive Kumar later met delegations of FONRWA, NEA, AGNI as well as farmers and village heads from different parts of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
