City Center to Electronic City Metro Route Expected to be ready by October 2018

In a good news for the passengers commuting to Ghaziabad, the much awaited metro is expected to reach electronic city from City Center metro station by October 2018 itself.
On this route, Metro is expected to become operational almost two months before the Aqua Line Metro, which will operate on Noida Greater Noida route. Sources claim that construction work will be completed by the end of July, there after trial will be started. Once the DMRC gets the approval of safety standards, the Metro will be operational for the people. This route is expected to receive more than 65 thousand foot fall everyday. At the same time, Noida-Greater Noida Metro is already under trial and is expected to became operational by December -2018.
From the city center to the electronic city, there are total of six metro stations on the route and the whole stretch is about five and a half kilometers long. Noida Authority and Central Government are bearing its construction cost. 80% of the expenditure will be taken care of by Noida Authority and rest 20% will be the responsibility of Central Government. More than 80 percent of the work on this route has already been completed. The remaining work will be completed soon.
About 90 percent of the work of the bi-duct has been already completed. As per the sources the operation of Metro will be started from City Center to Electronic City from October 2018.
