Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala Celebrates and Honors Doctors on the Occasion of World Doctors’ Day

Patiala 9th June 2017:  Doctors play important role in healthy and cure of people’s lives. A special gathering was organized at Columbia Asia Hospital on Doctor’s Day, in particular, Mr. Faisal Siddiqui, General Manager, Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala was present.

Around 150 doctors of Sangrur, Nabha, Samana and Patiala attended the function organized in Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala. On this occasion, Dr. (Brigadier) Virendra Bhatnagar, Head of Medical Services, Columbia Asia Hospital, Patiala said that “doctors treat a patient and act like God for him.” Simultaneously, he praised the work of all the Columbia Asia doctors. He has reached this stage due to his hard work. He said that to honor the great contribution of doctors in keeping people’s life healthy, Doctor’s Day is celebrated across India on July 1. This day is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of famous physician Dr BC Roy, who was also the second Chief Minister of West Bengal.
