Company selection work for Noida International Airport will be completed by February 2019 and foundation ceremony will also be performed.

Greater Noida (9/11/18) : Noida International Airport Ltd will be sending a formal draft of Noida International Airport to government in the coming weeks. The state government had approved the formation ofNoida International Airport Limited (NIAL), an agency working as a special purpose vehicle and to supervise the airport development. YEIDA CEO DR Arun Vir Singh has been appointee as the CEO of the NIAL as well.

UP Chief Secretary Anup Chandra Pandey, in a meeting held in Lucknow on Friday, directed the respective CEOs of these authorities to expedite the work on the project. He also directed the CEOs to provide funds for the project.

The land acquisition process has already started and a notification under Section 11 has been issued. And soon land of six villages will be acquired after that compensation will be given under section 19.

Apart from this earlier in a meeting of Civil Aviation Ministry some suggestion are been given regarding Final draft for Noida International Airport. In which it was suggested that the inputs from draft the Draft of Navi Mumbai Airport could be incorporated .

After getting approval from project monitoring and implementation committee by 12th November it will be presented before UP government.
