Talking about several issues of Kashmir, Senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid said the main purpose of implementing Article 370 in Kashmir has not been served till now and authorities must ensure the real essence of it at the earliest. Declination of the Article 370 has also doubted the status of Kashmir in a big way, he added.

Khurshid asserted that the special status of state with respect to article 35-A and 370 has ecological relevance, however it has been denied by the government at all.
Salman Khurshid along with Acharya Pramod Krishnam and Dr. Aman Hingorani were speaking at a seminar titled as ‘Why Kashmir Burning’ in New Delhi on Saturday organised under the aegis of HIND Bhartiyam Foundation.
Other speakers also criticised the working model of Modi government and concluded that, Union government is ignoring the Kashmir and has created a big crisis of employment especially for youths.
