#CricketBlastInTheCity : NI Champions League T20 to be Organized in Greater Noida

(21/06/2107) Greater Noida: City of Greater Noida is going to have its tryst with back to back T20 matches, as 2017 edition of North India Champions League is being organized here later this week.

The North India Champions League (NICL) T-20 is scheduled from June 25 to July 7, 2014 at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex. Though residents of Delhi/NCR have the amazing advantage of watching these matches live, the event will also be aired live on Neo Sports. A total of 18 matches are scheduled to be played between six franchise teams namely Jaipur Jaguars, Chandigarh Cheetahs, Delhi Kings, Noida Warriors, Gurugram Spartans and Dehradun Devils.

North India Champion’s League trophy was unveiled today at a glaring ceremony organized at Crowne Plaza hotel, Greater Noida. The glittering trophies have been custom made for the season and will be handed over to the winner and runner-up.

NICL tournament is the first of its kind; grass-roots level cricket initiative to discover budding cricketing talent in Northern India, and to provide good infrastructure and platform to the surplus neglected talent. It is a professional league for Twenty-20 cricket competition, open to all cricketers over the age of 16 years. Each of the teams is to contain 1-2 international players and 3-4 IPL or Ranji Players, the rest being local talents.

This event is organized by Xpert Eventers which is an India based sports event management
company focused on executing corporate sports events that offers its services towards
ideating sports events, sports promotions, sports marketing and pan-India execution of
sports events.

This is free ticketing event where donations are collected for the NAAD Foundation. The opening ceremony is to be held on June 25th, 2017, 4 PM onwards where talents like Faisal Puriya are going to perform live followed by other entertainments every day.
