Delhi government failed to utilize 17 thousand crore of Central fund in 2017-18 Allege MLA’s Kapil Mishra and Manjinder Sirsa

Delhi : Akali Dal-BJP leader MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Monday alleged that AAP government has lapsed Rs 17 thousand crore of fund in financial year 2017-18.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa was accompanied with suspended AAP MLA Kapil Mishra and they together held a press conference today at Delhi party office.

Continuing his attack on AAP government over upcoming budget, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “During 2017-18, Union Government had given Rs 17 thousand crore for the development of the National Capital but AAP has drastically failed to utilise the fund and it lapsed,” adding that 90% of the announcement which had been made by the Delhi Finance Minister Manish Sisodia during the budget session is unfulfilled.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa represents Rajouri Garden constituency. He further said, “Not a single development project has been started or carried out by the AAP government in my constituency. No new school, No Mohalla Clinic, nothing had happened in my constituency.”

The budget session of Delhi Government is slated to start from March 16 and will continue to March 28, 2018.

Later suspended AAP leader, Kapil Mishra said that those who had been pitching for ‘Jan Bhagirari’ in Delhi budget are now turning their back and hiding in their offices. “Neither government has tabled their previous budget report nor taking Public suggestions.”

Continuing his attack on AAP government, Kapil Mishra further said, “Delhi government should table a previous year’s budget report in the assembly to usher in transparency.

To foster the spirit of ‘Jan Bhagidari’ of Delhiites in the budget, Manjinder Singh Sirsa accompanied with suspended AAP MLA Kapil Mishra launched WhatsApp Number, Email ID and Twitter handle. Where people can send budget related suggestions. “On March 19, we will hand over the suggestions to finance Minister Manish Sisodia and will urge him to add appropriate suggestions.”
