‘Delhi Wood 2019’ a four-day mega event begins at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida

Greater Noida (13/03/2019) : Today sixth edition of mega show of wood industry ‘Delhi Wood 2019’ began at India Expo Mart. the event began traditionally by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon by Rakesh Kumar Chairman IEML and Peter Ottmann , CEO NurnbergMesse Group along with the other eminent guest present at the event.

This four-day long event is being organized by Nuernberg Messe India Pvt Ltd in cooperation with PDA Trade Fairs and supported by Eumabois (the 14-country federation of European woodworking machinery manufacturers)



Peter Ottmann, CEO NurnbergMesse Group made an important announcement about NurnbergMesse Group acquiring The India Mattresstech Expo which is India ’s dedicated trade fair for mattress and upholstery manufacturing. Speaking at the event he said, “The IME covers an important sub-segment of the furniture industry and creates valuable synergies for our exhibitor and visitor.”

Rakesh Kumar Interacting with Ten News said” This mega fair will help people involved in wooden handicrafts as for now they are using primitive tools and machinery. This fair will provide them better options which will enhance their quality and productivity.”

While interacting with media Prasha Managing director NurnbergMesse India told that “ the B2B event is hosting more than 550 exhibitors from over 35 countries which are showcasing the latest in technology, designs accessories, machinery etc.”

“ Some of the major countries participating in this four-day mega event Canada, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey and the USA. It is also expected that fair will generate large business from Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad regions.”

Delhi Wood will also bring together leading players in woodworking technologies, tools, fittings, raw materials & products for furniture production.
