DGP OP Singh focuses on traffic issues during his maiden visit to Greater Noida, meets social organizations!

Today Director General of Police (Uttar Pradesh) OP Singh Visited Greater Noida for the inauguration of two police station. He also initiated different E- challan facilities.

In morning he reached directly to newly built building of Knowledge Park police station where he was given guard of honour in the presence all the senior police officials of Meerut zone including ADG, IG and SSP Gautam Bush Nagar. After that he inaugurated the decorated police station by unveiling the inscription stone. He also took round of the station building.

He also planted trees in the premises of the police station to give message for importance of trees and sustainable development.

He later reached to SSP office and took meeting of all senior officials, circle officers and SHO’S of the district police. From SSP office itself he inaugurated the automatic challan system which will be operating at Jewar toll plaza on Yamuna Expressway.

He also provided 153 handsets to traffic police men of the district which are configured with an e-application for e-challan. He also initiated ANPR/CCTV monitored RLVD penalty system under which two more roundabouts of Noida will be equipped with cameras which will check traffic violations and penalize offenders.

In this E-challan system, if anyone one will be found violating traffic rules like over speeding, jumping the red light , driving on the wrong side etc. the camera installed on the roundabout and along the road side will automatically capture the picture of the vehicle and send the e-challan to the violator.

DGP Holds Meeting with Social Organizations

UP DGP OP Singh also met with different social groups in the city and discussed various issues of Noida including the traffic menace. Various prominent organizations including IIA led by Chairman SP Sharma, NEA led by Vipin Malhan, FONRWA led by NP Singh, Active Citizen Team led by Manjeet Sing etc. also met with DGP and discussed various issues concerning the city.
