Director Onir launches new faces for ‘Shab’ movie. Release to clash with Jagga Jasoos

Every year, hundreds of young girls and boys migrate from small towns to bigger cities like Mumbai and Delhi to make it big. Only some of them are able to get through. What does it take to realise a dream? The film ‘Shab’ seems to be asking that question with its intricate mesh of power equations and twisted relationships.

With an unconventional star cast and a grim tale, director Onir is back with his next film ‘Shab’ which means ‘Night’. Set in posh South Delhi, the film explores the dark side of the fashion world and the many complicated human relationships it sets rolling.

Shab will clash at the box office with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s much-awaited film Jagga Jasoos. The film has been directed by Onir. Shab also features Arpita Chatterjee, Ashish Bisht, Simon Frenay, Gaurav Nanda and Areesz Ganddi in pivotal roles. Shab, which is set in South Delhi, is a story that explores people coming from different walks of life in search of love and to realise their dreams.
