District Fire Department Initiates Action Against Three Builders For Not Complying With Fire Safety Norms

District fire department has started taking action over those high rising residential society where fire safety measures are not up to set standards. Fire department had identified such buildings earlier and had served notice to them for upgrading their fire safety systems. Now fire department has appealed against 3 builders in CJM court under breach of promise for failed to upgrade there systems.

Builders against whom action has been initiated are Assotech and Casa Woodstock builder. They have projects in sector 44, 78 as well as in sector 16 C in Greater Noida west region. Before taking action they were served notice for three times as per the rule but they hadn’t responded over it and there after department had taken action against them.

Department had found one and half dozen societies having inadequate fire safety measures as compared to set-standards during their investigation. There after they have now directed such societies and their builders to upgrade the system by issuing a notice to them. If they will fail in doing so similar action will also be taken against them.
