TN- Whats is the USP of your engineering college?
VK- USP of the education institution are the faculty, students who are intellect and people who are affiliate and it’s largely part of the society also and parents who have been associated to it. So once they speak about it and feel pride about it, that is the usp and I am sure that within short period of last decade of this engineering college, the people do have this kind of association and pride which make them comfortable and satisfaction, yes we are affiliated to ITS engineering college. When we talk about the infrastructure and facilities, yes we have centre of excellence, collaboration with the industry partners, and these are wonderful associations, where the students have opportunity to be groomed, with skill that are needed in the industry without any cost, and timing of the college and student also being asked to do advance courses and facilities which we have created for our students in last two years.
TN- which are the courses ITS Engineering college offers?
VK- we have B.Tech primarily in five disciplines, computer science and engineering, electronics and communications, civil and mechanical engineering and apart from that we have MBA.
TN- Any particular course which attracts more students?
VK- Though there is a general phenomena to look forward where society go, as an engineering graduate, we feel and seen that students are equally interested in all the courses, because they see and meaningful growth and opportunity for the establishment into their courses.
TN- What’s your planning to attract more students to college?
VK- when we talk about and strategy, it is only the student satisfaction, the faculty and staff who are associated with it and they have a sense of satisfaction and we primarily do that on their satisfaction. They are satisfied, they feel happy and I think that’s the best strategy.
TN- How is your placement record so far?
VK- Placement have been excellent so far, students who are eligible are encouraged to go for private sector
