Drunk Constable Creates Ruckus, brandishes pistol to get more liquor

A police constable deployed in Surajpur police line opened fire on a liquor salesman after he refused to serve liquor to him after shutdown hours. Constable also created lot of ruckus at mid night under liquor influence.

Constable Gaurav Kumar, who hails from Amroha district, was deployed in police line. Kumar was drinking with his friends at Ansal Housing society on Wednesday night. When the liquor that they were consuming, he approached a local liquor shop to buy more liquor at Sector Omega.

Since it was late at night, the salesman Johny Singh had shut down the shop and refused to provide liquor. Kumar called his friends and threatened the salesman with dire consequences for refusing to give him liquor.

Singh said Kumar and his friends started abusing him. The constable followed Singh to his residence in the neighborhood. “He took out a revolver and opened fire but somehow I manage to escape.” Singh added.

Johny also had recorded the incident in his cell phone and threatened police man to share this at CM’s Twitter Handle. After hearing this they fled away from the spot.

Latter victim registered a complaint against them in Kasna police station. Taking action on the complaint police arrested Gaurav and his two accomplices Vinesh and Amesh
