Eleven Companies take part in pre-bid meeting of interested TEFR consultants for Jewar Airport Project

Pre bid meeting regarding selection of consultant for preparing the Techno-Economic Feasibility report (TEFR) for the development of a Greenfield airport near Jewar took place today at Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority’s corporate office. Many well-known national international firm interested in the project, took part in this meeting.

The companies which took part in today’s pre-bid meeting include KPMG, Deloitte, L&B, Nippon Koei India Pvt Ltd, CRISIL, ARUP, Creative Group, CBRE, Tractebel, RITES and Louis Berger.

During the pre-bid meet the companies also raised their queries which were replied to and noted as necessary by the concerned officials of the department.

A detailed presentation on the proposed project and consultant’s role regarding Techno-Economic Feasibility report preparation was also given by the authority consultant Ernst & Young in presence of YEIDA Officer on Special Duty Shailendra Bhatia.

OSD Shailendra Bhatia said, “In series of our continued efforts to expedite Greenfield Airport project at Jewar, a Pre-bid meeting for hiring consultant for Techno-Economic-Feasibility Report (TEFR) with interested companies was organized today at Authority. Representatives of eleven companies took part in this meeting and raised their queries, which were duly noted by concerned officials”

Together with OSD Shailendra Bhati, GM Planning, GM Finance and other senior officials of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority were present in today’s meeting.

The process of selecting a consultant started on November 11 through e-tendering method. It is expected that technical bid for the same will be opened on December 11. The authority is expected to finalize a consultant by mid-December. Techno-Economic-Feasibility Report plays a crucial role in the project development.
