Film Fest : 3rd edition of Russian Film Days 2017 to showcase classic Russian Cinema on 10th, 11th & 12th November in Delhi

Delhi: After the colossal success of its first two editions, the 3rd edition of Russian Film Days, a world-class film festival that showcases the best of contemporary and classical Russian cinema is back in India. The Russian Film Days commences in Delhi from the 10th to 12th November, travels to Mumbai from 13th to 15th, and concludes at IFFI Goa from 21st to 28th of November. The festival will screen movies across genres like Comedy, thriller, drama, Sci-Fi, etc.

On Friday in Delhi, Russian Ambassador to India Nikoloi Kudashev Addressed a Press conference in Russian Embassy to announce Russian Film Days 2017. Padma Shri Hema Malini, Russian actress Kseniya Ryabinkina (who played a pivotal role in Mera Naam Joker), Maria Lemesheva along with Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vlamidir Medinkiy were also present to promote the film Fest in India.

With the new tourism season opening up this year and Russian charters already making a beeline for Goa, ‘Russian Film Days’, a film festival organised as part of an Indo-Russian government co-operation initiative, could help Goans get a more layered understanding of Russia, its culture and the aspirations of thousands of Russians tourists who arrive in the state every tourist season.
