Flow with magic of Odissi Dance at “Nritya Pravah 2018” being organized by Jyoti Shrivastava On Friday at Delhi

‘Nritya Pravah’ 2018, a beautiful and mesmerizing evening of Indian classical dance and music is going to be organized tomorrow, Friday, 24th August 2018 at India Habitat Center, New Delhi.
The event is being organized by Noida’s well known and reputed, Vaishali Kala Kendra in collaboration with Gunjan Dance Academy, Odisha.
The evening promises to be special with two different forms of Odissi by Jyoti Shrivastava and Meera Das along with their excellently trained disciples.
Jyoti Shrivastava has cultivated a life long devotion to Indian classical dance Odissi. She has been imparting training to a large number of learner’s. Being the director of Vaishali Kala Kendra, one of the leading dance institute imparting Odissi dance training for more then two decades, she has touched and changed lives of many with her impeccable teachings of the Indian classical dance.
Nritya Pravah 2018 is going to be the celebration of flow of life and Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for- Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India is going to be the chief guest for the evening. 
Talking about the concept behind the theme, the organizers say, “Being in the flow means accepting whatever comes and putting it to good use, before passing it on. “Pravah” is the flow of dance done for the Dancers , by the Dancers. We are celebrating our Heritage, culture and the diversity of Indian classical dance and expanding our arms to make them learn not only one form or style of  dance but also different forms of Indian classical music”.
Speaking of the event, eminent Odissi performer Jyoti Shrivastava said, “We strongly believe that Art is life and it should flow on.  Our special presentation is Ashtapadi by myself and GANGAA my new work  in Odissi style performed by my disciples.  Consecutively, this is our third year and this time we are collaborating with Meera Das of Gunjan dance academy from Cuttuak”.
Some of the accomplished disciples joining her would be Shaily Chatterjee, Khyati Rawat, Shambhavi Mittal, Hunar Goel, Rahul Varshney.
