Former CEC’s, Ex-cabinet Secretary, SC lawyer and others join Anna Hazare in demanding election reform

India Against Corruption Volunteer Organization (IACVO) today organized a one day seminar at India Habitat Centre on Election Reform in India.
Anna Hazare was scheduled to make the inaugural address at the event although he couldn’t make it to the Delhi due to bad health.
Prominent speakers who are present at the seminar are former Chief Election Commissioners of India from Chennai TS Krishnamurthy and Dr N Gopalaswamy, ex-IAS and Founder Loksatta from Hyderabad Jaya Prakash Narayan, Founder Trusty ADR and Ex-Faculty IIM Ahmedabad from Delhi Prof Jagdeep Chhokar, writer and film maker from Mumbai Paranjoy Guha Thakurta, senior Supreme Court lawyer and former solicitor general Fali Nariman, and as Special Guest Legal Advisor, Election Commission of India SK Mendiratta and K.G Rao.
IAC convenor Anoop Khanna hosted the event which begin with the recitation of Vande Materam and flower bouquet presentation to emminnent guests.
Around hundred volunteers from the organization also participated at the seminar where different aspects of electoral reforms were discussed in detail.
