Former RS MP Ananda Bhaskar quits Congress

New Delhi: (22/03/2019) On March 22, Congress leader and Former Rajya Sabha member Rapolu Ananda Bhaskar resigns from Congress party.



The leader sent his resignation letter to Congress Cheif chief Rahul Gandhi.

“With all humility, I hereby tender my resignation to the Primary Membership of Indian National Congress with immediate effect”, reads Bhaskar’s resignation letter.

When Ten News talked to the leader over phone, the leader said, “they (Congress) lost control of their own mind, what to think, what is the philosophy, what is the program of the party, what is the agenda for the future and how to field the people and where we exactly stands before the people, what should be our slogan, what should be our approach all these things have become very physiological disorder and they are not hearing”. [sic]

When asked about the Congress chief, the leader said, “Congress chief Rahul Gandhi is a nice man but surrounded by very bad and highly unconscious elements.”

When Ten News asked him about joining any other political party, the leader said, “God is great, time will give everything and time will take away everything. I am the personality of several social causes, rural causes and dedicated with that”.

On the other hand, according to a media report, “he is learned to have been upset with the party after it denied ticket Palakurthy ticket to him which he aspired. Since then, he stayed away from the party developments.”

Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu was the Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha from 2012-2018.
