Galgotias university today organized a Seminar on “Say No to Tobacco & Alcohol” at Seminar Hall, Galgotias university

Indian Medical Social Organization (IMSO) in collaboration with Civil Engineering Department of Galgotias university today organized a Seminar on “Say No to Tobacco & Alcohol” at Seminar Hall, Galgotias university. This was attended by various students and staff of Galgotias University.  This was organized as a part of “Awakening India Campaign” of IMSO. Dr. B. V. Babu (Vice – Chancellor, Galgotias University), Dr. Renu Luthra (Pro VC, Galgotias University) & Dr. P. S. Satvat ( President Grace/Dean, Galgotias University) suggested the significance to create awareness amongst the public about the dreadful disease. Dr. Amit Gupta, a reputed senior consultant highlighted on the various side effects of tobacco/alcohol/drugs and ways to avoid them. Dr. Krishan Kumar (President, IMSO) also emphasized the role of students in promoting awareness amongst the masses to reduce the incidence of tobacco & alcohol consumption. He stated that pass this message to next 10 people & ask for the same to them, then only this “Awakening India Campaign” by IMSO would be successful. Ms Lata Sharma (General Manager, IMSO), Dr. T Visalakshmi (Vice President Grace, Galgotias University) and others were also gracing the programme.
