Gardeners protest at Venkaiah Naidu’s residence

On the world Environment Day, 100 gardeners who take care of trees, flowers and surroundings of the India Gate were terminated from their respective jobs, after new recommendations were made by a newly appointed contractor of CPWD.
These 100 workers protested at Venkaiah Naidu’s residence (minister for broadcasting and urban development), however Police was present at the site.
Protesters stated that, it’s a silent protest and we are here to raise our issues to the minister.
