Noida: With an objective of enhancing the opportunities of trade in services the 3rd Global Exhibition on Services-2017, to be jointly organized at Greater Noida’s at India-Expo Mart, by the Ministry of Commerce, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Services Export Promotion Council from 17th – 20th April, 2017. The 3rd edition of Global Exhibition on Services it is learnt will provide a platform to proliferating opportunities of trade in services, enhancing strategic cooperation and fortifying multilateral relationship between all stakeholders. GES 2017 promises to be a vibrant and enriching experience with the expected presence of important countries, dignitaries and thought leaders. Some new initiatives planned to be held alongside GES 2017 are a festival of Indian cuisine and other sectors.

Sangeeta Saxena, Additional Economic Adviser, Ministry of Commerce and Industry while addressing the conference held at Radisson hotel here in Noida said the exhibition will develop and strengthen the global relations of India. “In the four day exhibition, exhibitors will display their products and services such as a wide range of various business based services concerning the service sector and many more related services,” Saxena said. While addressing the conference of the GES (Global Exhibition on Services) 2017 she asserted that the objective is to bring all the participants, delegates, business visitors and other key decision makers from the services industry and other related industry under one roof to interact and explore new business avenues.

While addressing the business conference Anup Wadhawan, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that Global Exhibition on Services is termed as the second sector of exhibition in the country. “Our trade is emerging and Services are embedded in the goods to keep the pace with the system,” Anup said. “World is entering into trade agreement and we are appealing our higher authorities entering into WTO through which we will gain a lot in the field of trade,” he added. He said that various departments are collaborating with the services like certification, accreditation and export promotion. Even Government of India is promoting services. All the sectors like Health, Business and Tourism will gain in the form of services. The country has lot of manpower which can use to flourish trade in the country. He further added that the government is committed to help trade and industry in the best possible way and considers them as a stakeholders and partners in the economic revival process of the country.

Anish Chaudhry CII Chapter Chairman Western UP said while extending a vote of thanks to all those who were present in the conference said that the Government of India is providing every help to the people to develop and promote business in the country.
