‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ to be screen Uttar Pradesh without title

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ might be screened again in UP, after the distributor changed its title sheet. The film was pulled off screens in Noida and Ghaziabad recently after the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court banned the screening of the film in UP, until the words ‘Ram-Leela’ and ‘Rasleela’ were removed from the title. In its ruling, the bench said, “We are only concerned with the use of word ‘Ram-Leela’ in the title of the film which hurts the sentiments of billions of peoples not only in India but all over the world.”
