UP Government Forms Ministerial Panel to study traffic issues of NCR regions

Government Spokesperson Shrikant Sharma on Tuesday announced formation of a three-member panel to study the traffic chaos and related issues of Uttar Pradesh cities coming under National Capital Region.

The high profile committee includes Industrial Development minister Satish Mahana, Minister of State(Independent Charge) for Cane Development and Sugar Mills Suresh Rana and Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna.

The three-member panel will camp for two to three days in Noida, Greater-Noida and Ghaziabad to make practical assessment of the traffic issues and problems in different areas. Following which a report will be submitted to the state government.

Commuters of Noida-Greater Noida regularly face traffic jam problems on DSC Road, Film City road, Udyog Marg, MP-I, MP-II and MP-III.

 

Umbrella body of Noida RWA’s, FONRWA has on Wednesday also written a letter to MP Mahesh Sharma for construction of an elevated road over Shahdra drain to ease traffic between Mayur Vihar and Mahamaya flyover.
