Greater Noida student brings laurels to the region, Wins Accenture Innovation Challenge  2017!

The Accenture Innovation Challenge looks for innovators in campuses across India. This is an exciting chance to make innovative ideas heard on a national platform where winners stand to gain exciting prizes,  recognition and opportunities to lead in Accenture. The Accenture Innovation Challenge is for full-time college students of India, aged 18 years or above. The themes of the contest for the year 2017 were’Disruptive Businesses’ and ‘Tech for Good’.

Mr. Mohan Sekhar‏, Senior Project Director at Accenture said that for Accenture Innovation Challenge 2017, more than 7000 ideas were shared during the last couple of months. All submitted ideas were evaluated on the basis of three criteria – innovativeness, technical feasibility and impact. The top 12 teams were called to Bagaluru for the final presentation on 27th and 28th  November 2017.

The project BinBot, developed by Mainak Pakira, a student of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, under the guidance of Mr.Raj Ranjan Prasad was selected in the Final 12.

In the Grand Finale held on 28thNovember 2017 at Bagaluru, Mainak Pakira bagged  the Disruptive Business Category award. Along with the Honour Certificate, Mainak Pakira received Prizes worth Rs.50000/-
