Greater Noida’s Savitribai school open spaces turns into mini forest

Greater Noida:  Greater Noida is too greener at Savitribai School campus. After so many complaints to Greater Noida authority officers regarding the situation of park in Savitri Bai Phule Balika Inter College, Greater Noida, No action has been taken by the authorities in this context.

The Current situation of the park in school campus is in worst condition. The whole park is covered with dense bushes and wild plants reaching a height up to 4 to 5 feet’s. As in rainy season the situation is getting worse and a danger of snakes and other poisonous insects can create problems for the public. Electric wires are also lying in open and which are invisible due to bushes in the park.

Rima Day Principal Savitri Bai Phule Balika Inter College told that “dangerous snakes and four legged poisonous animals are entering in school & hostel and are threatening .If any untoward incident happens Principal will be made a criminal.”

Further she added that “fire fighting system, CCTV, ducts in hostel, chiller plant, not working, auditorium is in a mess we can’t take the children there. All functions are stopped, No replacement for termite eaten cupboards, Seepage is rampant, and any day there might be short-circuit.”

Administration is only focusing on issuing guidelines for the private schools regarding safety and security of children’s. But when it comes to look out for government schools, GNIDA has shown their disinterest to take any measures in improving schools condition.
