Greater Valley School, Greater Noida celebrated the World Autism Awareness Day on Monday, 3rd April 2017. The day was commemorated by organizing a special assembly followed by an interactive session between the students of Grade XII and the children of Saamarth (the special needs wing at GVS). Autism-friendly events and educational activities were carried out through the day to increase understanding and acceptance among the students. To support the campaign, the staff came dressed in shades of blue. Speaking on the occasion the Principal, Ms. Anamika Sood encouraged the team work displayed by the students and stated that the students of GVS are responsible, caring, and vibrant youngsters who learn through such initiatives how to work with and to lead others in an environment that appreciates diversity and promotes inclusion.
