#GSTtalk : HRD Minister Prakash Javedkar clears doubts on GST

Union HRD Minister Prakash Javedkar spoke highly about GST and called it a much needed uniformity of taxation across country.

He said, “One Country, One Tax under GST is the need of time. We have freed Indian traders and consumers from clutches of multiple taxes and laws and have made it as simple as possible”.

On question of GST causing wide confusion among masses he said,”Every new thing takes some time to get used to and adopt. As soon as Indian business fraternity will understand minutes of GST they will appreciate it. It is something very simple and useful. Only people who need to fear from GST are those who were evading taxes till date”.

He also said that present Narendra Modi government will fear nothing when it comes to national interest. Interest of people is our top most priority and we shall always work in directions to achieve this goal”.
