IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2017 today culminated with an extravagant show that witnessed large number of national and international buyers visiting this fair.
Ten News today spoke to Chairman of HITAISHI KK Manufacturing Co. Pvt. Ltd. which is one of the leading exporters of cotton and Jute bags, Christmas Tree Decorations and Ornaments, Cosmetic/Toiletry Bags, Cushion and Pillow Accessories etc.
Speaking of his wide product range he said, “We are actually a high end product producers and we design and produce products for utilities. Our products are very popular in overseas market in most of the bigger stores. Jewellery box, watch box, cigar box, gifting box etc. are very famous. HITASHI is one of very few companies who design and manufacture smell free boxes for confectionaries. Also we are one of the leading toy manufacturers in the country”.
Speaking about Overseas market he said, “USA and UK are definitely a traditionally bigger market. In addition to it Japan, China, Australia and middle eastern countries are emerging as good buyers.”
He also said that USP of Indian Handicraft is that we are able to customize products and we have been able to maintain hand finishing talent in the country. Indian exporters are also able to meet all the testing parameters of the product.
O P Prahladka is also the Chairman 7 Convenor of Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts and Director of HCSSC.
Speaking about IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2017 he said, “The business this year has been great. We have been able to increase the number of visitors. The buyers this year have been very serious about the purchases and we have been able to do excellent business”.
