HOME EXPO 2017 – A BUYER-SELLER MEET- Downs Curtain Today
GREATER NOIDA – 20TH APRIL, 2016 – The 6TH edition of Home Expo India 2017 came to a close today at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
1200 overseas buyers, buying agents and their representatives including domestic retail volume buyers visited during three days of the show informed Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director – EPCH.
Mr. Kumar further informed that Home Expo India has taken shape over six editions as a strategic sourcing platform to meet India’s leading manufacturer exporters of home textiles, furnishing, furniture, houseware and decorative and allied products as well as artisans and craftspersons from select craft concentration regions.
Pier 1 Imports, USA, Atlas, Gmbh, Germany, Kangaroo, Germany, Ienowa Co. Ltd. Japan and Hunter Furniture are the main companies who came to source their requirements from the show. Domestic retail volume buyers also visited the three day show to source the requirement from exhibitors who were ready for retail sale during the show.
Ajay Shankar Memorial awards for best designed and displayed marts were also distributed to the participants in three product categories. The Ajai Shankar Memorial Awards were instituted in the memory of late Mr. Ajai Shankar, former Development Commissioner (Handicrafts).
In Houseware and Decoratives category M/s S&R Exports, Gurgaon, Haryana got the gold award (Ms. Ankita Gera received the award) and M/s Forms, Nagpur got the silver award (Mr. Zaran received the award) In Furnishing, Flooring and Textiles category M/s Jayanita Exports Pvt. Ltd, Delhi received the award (Mr. Suneer Jain received the award) in Furniture & Accessories category M/s Basant, Jodhpur got the gold award (Mr. Mayank Jain received the award) and M/s Indian Artware, Jodphur got the silver award (MR. Sunit Jain received the award), further elaborated Mr. Kumar.
