IHGF Delhi Fair 2017 A Grand Success says former EPCH Chairman Lekhraj Maheswari

IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2017 is currently being organized at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida. In its 44^th edition now, IHGF is witnessing large number of buyers and humongous variety of products.

Over 3000 small, medium and big exporters are participating in this fair that is being organized by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts.

One of the most prominent exporters present at the fair is Rajasthan Handloom and Rohit International which is attracting large number of buyers due to its wide variety of products.

Ten News spoke to Chairman of Rajasthan Handloom, Lekhraj Maheshwari who spoke in detail about different products of Rajasthan Handloom as well as EPCH and IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2017.

He said, “Rajasthan Handloom products include Bed sheets, cushion covers, jackets, bags and a lot of hand embroidery products. The quality and price of Indian products is a great factor that draws large numbers of buyers from all over the world”.

Speaking about IHGF Delhi fair he said, “This fair has about 3000 stands which have complete handicraft variety of India. The product range includes home furnishing, garments, blue pottery, mirror works, lamps, metals, marble products etc. The response of fair is tremendous. The standard of fair has increased manifold and we are expecting a business of over 3000Crore”.

Mr. Maheshwari also talked about increasing demand of Indian Handicraft from all over world and said, “Rajasthan Handloom importers are most based out of USA, UK, France, Germany, Argentina etc. And as of IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2017, the fair is witnessing excellent footfall of bulk buyers from many foreign countries. Buyers from around 110 countries are participating in this fair”.

As of Rohit International, the product range includes bedsheets, cushion cover, handbags, curtains, ladies accessories among other things.
