INDIA EXPO CENTRE & MART CONFERRED WITH THE BEST MICE CONVENTION CENTRE AWARD.
India Expo Centre & Mart was adjudged as the BEST MICE CONVENTION CENTRE at the BW Businessworld MICE Conclave and Awards ceremony on 20th January 2018, held at The Grand New Delhi. The BW Businessworld MICE Conclave and Awards 2018 brings together the top hospitality and Tourism professionals who are involved with the MICE business in India. The award was handed over by Shri Alphons Joseph Kannanthanam, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT, Culture and Tourism, Government of India.
India Expo Centre & Mart, is the largest and the most reputed MICE venue in the country with 80,000 sq. mtr of convention space. The venue has the size and capabilities to handle what different conferences require in a bespoke manner. It has hosted most of the Global conferences of the country in the recent past such as 46th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank, FDI Annual World Dental Congress , PETROTECH, Organic World Congress, 22nd International Federation of Fertility Societies World Congress, 18th World Road IRF Meeting etc. The centre has hosted the President and the Prime Minister of the country on several occasions.
While receiving the award, Shri Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Ltd., who conceptualised the state of the art convention centre said, “This is a huge honour for the Centre and it will indeed motivate us to ensure we continue to deliver on our quality commitment, to maintain, and where possible exceed, guests’ expectations.”
He also thanked to all the stakeholders and his team for always placing the interest of their clients foremost. On behalf of IEML management, Shri Kumar congratulated and thanked the IEML Board, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Greater Noida Authority, local administration, clients, service providers and the IEML team for consistently supporting to do a fantastic job and helping in meeting the centre’s benchmarks which directly impact clients and guests’ satisfaction.
