India Expo Mart Greater Noida to host 11th Edition of Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show from 16th July

Greater Noida’s ultra modern world class expo venue India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida is going to host the 11th edition of Fashion, Jewellery & Accessories Show (IFJAS – 2018). The show will start from 16 July and will continue till 18th July.
This year for the first time Indian Garment Show is also going to be organized simultaneously at the same venue. It is being expected that synergy between the two shows will benefit the exporters from both the domains and buyers will also have advantage of going through a wider variety of product ranges.
Briefing about the upcoming IFJAS – 2018 RK Verma, Director said, ‘It is to reflect the rich legacy of traditional Indian workmanship blended into Innovative designs of fashion jewellery & accessories, the EPCH is organizing this mega Jewellery & Accessories show. Indian fashion has been known for its high value addition which is typical of Indian heritage, ethnicity yet modern for its connectivity. However India was not much known in the field of fashions but in past few decade, India has developed it’s expertise in this field also and has emerged as one of the leading providers of wide range of accessories matching with the dresses in accordance with the fashion”.
It is expected that on 16th July the show will be Inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Textiles Ajay Tamta in the presence of Minister of Khadi, Village Industries, Sericulture, Textile, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion in the Government of Uttar Pradesh Satyadev Pachauri. However the final confirmation from the two dignitaries was still awaited till the writing of this news.
At IFJAS 2018, this year about 250 Indian Companies from across India would be displaying varied range of fashion jewellery & accessories products mainly focusing on fashion on costume jewellery, imitation jewellery, fashion accessories, hand bags and fancy & embroidered fashion shows and head to toe adornments made out of widest range of materials and designs available in the country in these categories.
As of largest market for Indian exporters of this product category, the organizers informed that US and Europe have been a traditional strong market where as UK continues to be the second largest buyer.
